Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Clark County coroner on Wednesday identified the man they say shot and killed a security guard inside the employee parking garage at the Wynn before turning the gun on himself.
Police say 42-year-old Reggie Tagget, an employee at the resort, had been a no call, no show for work his last couple of shifts. When Tagget entered the garage just before 6pm on Tuesday, an alert was sent to garage security.
The guard, identified as 31-year old Yoseph Almonte, approached Tagget’s car, only to have Tagget fire on him, killing him.
Police say Tagget then fatally himself.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what triggered the incident. They say it appears the Almonte and Tagget did not know each other.
The murder-suicide is the 4th to happen in the valley in recent weeks.
