Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A 35-year-old woman was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges that she was driving impaired when she struck and killed a bicyclist early Tuesday.

Metro Police say the Jessica Saitta was heading east on Sahara when she ran a red light at Commercial Center, hitting a bicyclist that had the green on Commercial Center.
The bicyclist was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, but died from their injuries. Their identity hasn’t been released.
Saitta was treated for minor injuries before being booked into CCDC.
