Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A 16 year-old boy has died after he was shot in the head following a dispute with a neighbor on the city’s west side Monday afternoon.

Christian John Murphy was shot during an argument with a person walking their dog, police said on Monday. Police said Murphy was also armed at the time.
The shooting happened in the 9600 block of Mariner Village Court in the Foothills subdivision near Fort Apache and Flamingo.
Police haven’t said what started the dispute.
Metro investigators say that the other shooter, a man in his 60s, fired his weapon in self-defense, and is not expected to face charges in the incident.
