Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas says that they are once again over the shelter’s capacity, and are issuing an emergency plea for fosters to help ease the shelter’s congestion.

The Animal Foundation, at 655 North Mojave (north of Bonanza), says that they’ve had over 1,000 dogs surrendered just in the month of April alone.

Currently, the AF says they have close to 950 animals on site, 549 of them dogs.

The Foundation says fosters are urgently needed for both medium and large dogs. Those interested can come by between the hours of 11am and 7pm through Sunday.
