4-year-old child dies in North Las Vegas house fire

No adults were home when firefighters arrived

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Officials in North Las Vegas are investigating a house fire that left a 4-year-old child dead.

The fire broke out at a house near Cheyenne and Civic Center just after 6 on Tuesday night. Flames and smoke were seen coming out of the front of the house when fire crews arrived.

The two kids inside of the home were taken to University Medical Center. One remains in stable condition

Investigators say that when fire crews arrived on scene, the kids were unattended.

The cause of the fire isn't yet known, nor has a damage estimate been given.
