The first happened near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos. The second one occurred a few hours later on Decatur just north of Oakey.
Both crashes involved bikes slamming into pickup trucks. Impairment isn’t suspected in either case. No one in the trucks were hurt.
The names of the motorcycle riders haven’t yet been released.
The crashes marked the 99th and 100th traffic-related fatalities in Metro’s jurisdiction so far in 2022
