Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - University Medical Center plans to offer staff and patients complimentary services after a cyberattack.
Officials said Tuesday that they will offer identity protection and credit monitoring services out of an abundance of caution.
This comes after a cyberattack targeted the hospital's computer network in mid-June. UMC officials say they are working with Metro Police, the FBI and cybersecurity experts to identify the source of the attack.
UMC officials say they believe those cybercriminals accessed a server used to store data, but say say there is no evidence of any clinical systems were accessed during the attack
