Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The median price of a pre-existing, single-family home in Las Vegas held in May, according to new numbers released on Friday by Las Vegas Realtors.
The median price was $480,000, equal to what is was in April, and just shy of the all-time record of $485,000.
Prices have held mostly steady so far in 2025 as more homes hit the market with fewer buyers to scoop them up.
"Home prices have been very steady so far this year, with more homes on the market," LVR President George Kypreos said. "This increase in inventory and slower sales pace is giving buyers more options and negotiating power. This is a shift from the highly competitive seller's market we experienced in recent years."
The median price for condos and townhomes in May was $307,000, up $5,000 from April’s figure.
According to LVR, there's a three-and-a-half month housing supply on the market currently. Last year at this time, Southern Nevada had less than a two-month housing supply.
