All routes will be operating on a regular weekday schedule.

“The RTC would like to express our gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served our country,” said M.J. Maynard, RTC chief executive officer. “Our community is made stronger by their courageousness, and we hope to give back what we can on this day.”

Free rides are available on all of RTC’s transit routes on Veterans Day and can be used to attend the annual Veterans Day Parade downtown. One of the largest Veterans Day parades in the country, it takes place from 10 a.m. to noon along Fourth St. between Gass and Stewart.

Additional information on all the programs designed to thank local veterans can be found on the Veterans Services web page.
