Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) The family of murder victim Lesly Palacio is continuing to fight for justice.

The family held a press conference Monday after Jose Rangel pleaded guilty to destroying evidence and being an accessory to murder in Palacio's death.

Rangel faces up to two years in prison, but her family says that is not enough, and the family attorney said it is scary that Rangel could be out on the streets again in two years.

The 22-year-old Palacio died in August of last year, and the accused killer, Erick Rangel-Ibarra, is still on the run and is likely in Mexico.

Prosecutors identified Jose Rangel as the man who helped Erick, his son, move Palacio's body and covered up the crime scene. The family is planning another protest this Friday at the Clark County Detention Center.
