Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Clark County Wetlands Park was closed on Tuesday as police attempted to locate a man who was armed with knives.

Police say it began early Tuesday morning when the man threatened a driver in the area.

Roughly an hour later, police say the man called them to say he would be doing damage inside the park. The man was found, but got away on foot and has yet to be located.

Police did not give a description of the man.

The county will keep the Wetlands Park closed at least through Tuesday, saying it would keep the public updated through its social media outlets (@ClarkCountyNV, @CCWetlandsPark, @CCParkPolice).
