The wreck occurred at the intersection of Centennial Parkway and Shaumber when Metro says a car being driven by 38 year-old Lisa Guerino ran a stop sign and slammed into another car.

Police say Guerino then left the scene of the accident on foot. Police found her at her home nearby and took her into custody without incident.

A 37 year-old man who was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle that Guerino struck died at the scene. A three year old boy was taken to U.M.C. Trauma and was last listed in critical condition. Two other people in the car were not seriously hurt.
