
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police say they believe impairment was in a factor in a fatal single-car crash on the valley’s east side early Wednesday.

Investigators say that just after 2am, a female driver lost control of her car and slammed it into a pole at Charleston and Pecos. The woman died at the hospital.
A 4-year-old boy who was also in the car was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
Neither the woman nor boy have had their identities released as the investigation continues.
The crash closed the intersection for several hours.
