Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – One person was killed in a crash on I-15 Thursday night that was caused by a wrong-way driver.
The accident happened just after 6:30pm when a driver heading south in the northbound lanes of I-15 slammed into oncoming traffic.
In total, 6 cars were involved. The wrong-way driver died at the scene. Three others were taken to area hospitals.
I-15 North traffic was diverted off at Charleston for roughly 10 hours after the crash. The freeway opened back up just after 4am Friday.
Identifications of the people involved haven’t yet been released.
