Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – June was the hottest June ever in Las Vegas as far as the temperature goes, but it was matched by red-hot numbers in the casino win from players.
New figures released on Wednesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, said it was the best June on record as far as the casino win goes, and the 8th best month overall since records began to be kept.
$1.286B was taken in by Nevada casinos in June, with Strip casinos taking in just over $758M of that.
Most of Clark County saw a year to year increase in win, with only North Las Vegas and Laughlin casinos seeing a slight dip.
June marked the end of the 2024 fiscal year, a year unlike any other.
The fiscal year 2024 overall win was $15.7 billion, 4.4% higher than fiscal year 2023, with just over $9 billion of that coming from the Strip.
