Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Department of Motor Vehicles locations throughout Nevada have opened back up to customers following an attack on its computer systems that was part of a statewide cyberattack.
The DMV says that even though they’ve reopened, they’re only able to handle certain transactions. Locations are able to handle services like car registrations, titling, and other vehicle-related services.
However, services related to identification and driving privileges remain unavailable as crews work to get everything back online.
The agency says that anyone who had an appointment between August 25th and 30th will be honored as a walk-in customer.
