Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A new directive from Governor Steve Sisolak would allow for full and close contact sports to resume.

On Monday, officials urged organized leagues, clubs, and associations to talk with their local health officials to develop plans to resume competition and games. The new directive goes into effect today.

Governor Sisolak issued the emergency directive after his Medical Advisory Team gave their latest recommendations.
