
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A portion of Highway 95 in Nye County was closed for most of the day Tuesday after a crash between two trucks, one of which was carrying lithium batteries.
The crash happened just after midnight on 95 at Mile Marker 13. The closure of 95 spanned from State Route 160 south to Indian Springs.
During the closure, Nevada State Police detoured traffic from 95 South onto State Route 160 through Pahrump, while traffic on 95 North was stopped and turned around at Indian Springs.
The other truck was carrying lumber. Neither driver involved was hurt.
95 reopened in the area just after 6pm.
