Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo announced ordered flags lowered to half-staff and light the Nevada State Capitol Building in Carson City blue in honor of the victims of the terror attacks in Israel.
Per Governor Lombardo, the flags of the United States and the State of Nevada will be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and all state public buildings and grounds beginning at sunrise on Tuesday. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on Saturday, October 14.
Following the attacks, Governor Lombardo released the following statement: “My prayers are with Israel and the Israeli families suffering from Hamas’ unprovoked terrorist attacks today. These attacks are abhorrent, and Israel has a right to defend itself. Today — and every day — the United States and the American people stand with Israel.”
