Police say 37-year-old Ryan Sanders is believed to have his 13-year-old son with him, and they think he may still be in the Pahrump Valley. Sanders, who has a lengthy criminal history, faces a host of charges when he’s found, including 1st-degree kidnapping, attempted murder and grand larceny.

The second man police say is involved, identified as Richard Duncan, was arrested shortly after the woman contacted authorities. He’s said to be cooperating with investigators.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the elder Sanders’ arrest.

Wednesday afternoon, the Nye County Sheriff's Office tweeted out that they were surrounding a property in the 10000 block of Oakridge Avenue where they believed Sanders was holed up. NCSO didn't give any more details, including if Sanders' son was with him.
