Nevada ranked in the middle of the pack for retirement destinations

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - To many, Nevada is seen as a retirees’ paradise, with nice weather, no state tax and plenty of wide open spaces.

Not so fast, says Bankrate.com

Bankrate.com recently released their ranking of the Best States To Retire In and nevada fell squarely in the middle, coming in at Number 25.

The study took into account factors such as affordability, wellness, culture, weather and crime. Nevada ranked 30/50 for affordability, 21/50 for wellness, 19/50 for culture, 13/50 for weather and 40/50 for crime.

Nevada ranked just above Pennsylvania and just below Nebraska in the list.

Overall, Georgia came in as the top spot for retirees, with Maryland ranked dead last.
