Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - State offices around Nevada will likely stay closed again on Tuesday after what was termed as a “network security incident” knocked out various systems statewide.
The F.B.I. is now involved in the investigation into why the systems were knocked offline. The incident was first noticed on Sunday morning.
The DMV, along with state law enforcement and utilities have all been affected, but the governor’s office says no personal information of Nevada residents was stolen.
All DMV offices statewide are closed, with the DMV saying that if you had an appointment, they will honor you as a walk-in customer for the next couple of weeks.
9-1-1 services are working as normal.
