Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Lifeguard Arena in Henderson is closed until further notice.
Earlier this week, the arena on Water Street and Atlantic experienced problems with its compressor which led to the ice surface being unplayable.
On the arena's webpage, officials say that anyone enrolled in Lifeguard Arena programs like Learn to Skate, NHL Learn to Play, Lil’ Knights, House League, or VJGK will be receiving updates directly from that program’s Director.
Those who had pre-paid for any Open Skate, Adult Stick and Puck, Family Stick and Puck, or Freestyle sessions you will receive an email with information about a refund.
There was no word given on when the problem would be fixed and the arena re-opened.
Lifeguard Arena is the official practice facility of the Henderson Silver Knights, the AHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights.
