Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - It looks like the UNLV Runnin' Rebels will have to hunt for yet another coach.
Multiple sources are reporting that head coach T.J. Otzelberger will become the new coach at Iowa State University, succeeding Steve Prohm, who went just 2-22 this season.
No deal has officially been announced yet, nor have there been any comments on the matter from officials at either Iowa State or UNLV.
Otzelberger has a connection with the Cyclones' program having been an assistant there for 8 years, including under the just-dismissed Prohm.
Looking for a new coach hasn't been uncommon for the Rebels as of late. The new hire will mark the 6th head coach for the team in the last 10 years.
