"Bucks County itself has such a strong tie-in with food, with all the farms that we have," said Emily Cummins, public relations manager for Visit Bucks County. "We have 19 local restaurants, but in addition to that, there's also local breweries, local wineries."
She said the festival, which takes place Friday and Saturday, is way to taste what Bucks County has to offer.
"Some of those restaurants are going to be Akira, Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar, Logan Inn, Nectar, Oki Maki, which I like," she said, "Thyme Bar and Grill, and then Parx has its own really great lineup."
In addition, Food Network celebrity chef Marc Murphy of "Chopped" fame will be hosting some events through the weekend.
"And Saturday, that is some exciting stuff with a 'Chopped'-style cook-off," she noted, "including other participating chefs, which are all local chefs from Bucks County, Philadelphia and then other parts of Pennsylvania."
The festival is also a fundraiser, which benefits Libertae, an addiction and recovery treatment center in Bensalem for women and their children.
"It's going to be an endless display of delicious things to eat," Cummins added of the festival.
