PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A large water main break in Roxborough is leaving many residents without service.
The Philadelphia Water Department says residents may experience interrupted water service or reduced water pressure.
----Attention Roxbourgh residents:---- We are responding to a water main break at Ridge Ave and Shurs Lane. You may experience water service interruption or reduced water pressure. We appreciate your patience as we make repairs to get your water flowing again.

The department says it is receiving a high volume of phone calls from concerned residents, but it is aware of the issue.
