Authorities say the 18-wheeler crashed into a concrete barrier in front of the U.S. Mint on Race Street between 4th and 5th streets.
A fuel line was severed in the crash, allowing 50 to 100 gallons of fuel to spill onto the streets.
Hazmat crews were called in to clean up the mess.
