There are now 31 states on the list.

Gov. John Carney isn’t taking this news lightly.

“I’m mad as hell frankly. And it doesn’t make any sense,” he said.

Carney says his state is in better shape today as far as the numbers go than it was when it was taken off the list last week.

UPDATE: If you are traveling to New Jersey from the following states, you should self-quarantine for 14 days:AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, LA, MD, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WILearn more: https://t.co/lGoK55sFyZ pic.twitter.com/cff0yTbLT4

He thinks Delaware is back on it because of a few bad days, where test results showed over 100 new cases in the state each of those recent days.

“We have a percent positive that’s 4.2 percent positive, which is below the World Health Organization, better than the other states in our region, not New Jersey and New York in fairness to them, but certainly better than Pennsylvania, which is not on the list,” Carney said.

Maryland and Virginia are a few of the other new additions to the travel advisory.

Those traveling between states for work are exempt but are strongly encouraged to work from home.
