May 3, 2019 After struggling against Toronto big man Marc Gasol in the first two games of the series, Embiid came out ultra aggressive at both ends of the floor and it paid off early. The big man set the tone, allowing the 76ers to take a three point lead into the second quarter.
The 76ers pace in the second caused Kawhi Leonard and company to struggle defensively and rush to respond offensively. The result was missed shots and turnovers, giving the Sixers a double digit lead at the half.

May 3, 2019 Philadelphia's aggression to the hoop continued to start the third, as JJ Redick would get hot and in the blink of an eye, the lead ballooned to 18 points. But Leonard would not be denied and near single-handedly pulled the Raptors within eight points with 12 minutes to play, on a perfect 6-6 shooting in the quarter.
The 76ers would start the fourth on an 11-1 run and never look back, taking a 2-1 lead in the best of seven.
