PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Josh Tower was not about to throw away his shot to stand among the Birds at the 50-yard line.

“The next thing I know, the Eagles VP of marketing is calling me, asking me to sing at the game,” he said.

Tower admitted it’s been a while since he’s attended an Eagles home game, but he’ll be center field Sunday before the Birds take on the Bears.

“Veterans Stadium is gone now, so I haven't been to the Linc,” he said. “I'm really glad that this is the way I get to go back.”

Tower’s love for music and the arts stems from being a part of the chorus at Upper Dublin High. Now that he’s back in Philly, the support has been outpouring for his “Hamilton” run.

“The chorus teacher at Upper Dublin, Mr. Wilhelm, at the time, who has come and seen the show — and basically every show I've ever done — has been really supportive.”

He acknowledged it’s a rare opportunity to live out his dreams in his hometown, so he’s soaking it all in while he can.

“It's going to be amazing to stand wherever they're going to put me — I'm assuming it's somewhere, the 50-yard line or the center of the field — and do it with the team that I've held so near and dear to my heart since I was young,” he added.
