PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Many people have concerns about going back to see their doctor or having procedures performed, but your healthcare providers are making it safer.
If you have concerns, here are some expectations you should have: fever checks and screening questions as you enter the facility; limits on how many people can use the elevator at once; chairs spaced far apart in the waiting room, or sometimes waiting in your car; limits on the number of people who can come with you; masks worn by patients, visitors, and staff; availability of hand sanitizer.
You should also expect that behind the scenes, surfaces are being rigorously cleaned and disinfected.
