PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A lesson in gun safety could be in order for a young man who accidentally shot himself in an old city parking garage.
Philadelphia police say a 23-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the left hand and left leg shortly before 6:30 Monday night.
The victim is in the hospital and is in stable condition. He does have a permit to carry, say investigators.
The shooting accident happened in a typically busy parking garage at 500 Market Street. Nobody else was hurt.
