PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the four-alarm fire in Port Richmond on April 7.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced the arrest of Joseph Wolbert, who faces charges of arson and other state-related crimes.
The fire broke out inside the Thrifty Irishman Thrift Store in the 2200 block of East Butler Street around 7:30 p.m. The store was part of a two-story warehouse.
It took three hours and 150 firefighters to get it under control.
The fire caused $1.8 million in damages and also destroyed the building.
