EAGLEVILLE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A Bucks County man is facing criminal charges after allegedly threatening Gov. Tom Wolf and his family out of frustration over unemployment benefits.

According to the criminal complaint, 61-year-old Brian Rafferty told police he wasn’t getting answers from the unemployment office, so he called the governor’s office.

The complaint says Rafferty, from Lower Southampton Township, told an office employee that he lives down the street from the governor’s daughter and granddaughter. He then threatened their safety.

Rafferty is charged with two counts of misdemeanor harassment and one count of terroristic threats.
