PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office says it is closing the investigation into the deaths of an elderly couple in Fort Washington.
Ross and Rhoda Woodward were found dead on the lawn of their home on South Bethlehem Pike on the morning of Dec. 4.

The coroner's office lists 84-year-old Ross Woodward's cause of death as a heart issue.
It says 81-year-old Rhoda Woodward died from a combination of a head injury and hypothermia.
The manner of death for both is listed as undetermined, as it's unclear what caused her head injury.
Last month, a postal worker called 911 when he saw the bodies in the yard.
Initially their deaths were believed to be violent in nature. But after a SWAT team cleared the house and the property around it, officials determined there were no obvious injuries on the bodies that would have caused their deaths.
