PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — East Passyunk Avenue Restaurant Week begins Monday, and Adam Leiter, executive director of the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, says this is the avenue where you can find some of the best culinary talent in the city.

"We include about 26 restaurants all along the avenue. Everything from James Beard Award nominees to your favorite pub food," Leiter said.

Restaurant week includes lunch and dinner specials.

"So restaurant week is $15, $25 and $35 plates. It's typically three courses," he explained.

And it actually lasts more than a week: it's 12 days long through March 8, with many of the restaurants offering their specials through the weekend.

"We have a mile long business corridor from Broad and Snyder all the way up to Federal Street and it's totally walkable," he added.
