Officials from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office say 31-year-old Ryan Dubiel has been charged with two counts of simple assault after he allegedly pepper-sprayed two people for no apparent reason.
A statement released on Wednesday said video footage from June 4 “showed that at the time of the spray deployment, individuals were not physically resisting or attempting to harm others or themselves.”
The body camera footage will be released Thursday.
Dubiel has been with the Woodlynne Police Department for 10 months.
This is the ninth police department where he has served.
