PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Investigators are on scene of a fatal train accident at the Colmar Station, along the Lansdale/Doylestown Line.
Just after 1 p.m. Thursday on the inbound lines, SEPTA officials say the person was on the track when the train came in. They are still trying to determine whether this was an accident or a suicide.
Both sides of the track have resumed service as of 3:30 p.m.
Doylestown: Service has resumed btwn Doylestown and Lansdale. Inbound train #5253 is the first to depart Doylestown at 3:54PM making stops at Fern Rock, Wayne Junction and North Broad Stations. Train #568 will be the first outbound train departing Suburban Station at 3:50 PM.
