PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Anti-hunger nonprofit Philabundance will resume operations Friday at a drive-thru food distribution site in the north parking lot of Citizens Bank Park, at 7th Street and Pattison Avenue in South Philadelphia.The site was inactive for the last week becasue of protests and unrest in the city. However, residents can pick up one share of provisions (about 35 pounds of food) per vehicle between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Fridays. People seeking assistance must be in a vehicle to receive the provisions.Philabundance has the capacity to provide food for up to 1,600 vehicles.The drive-thru distribution site will be open every Friday through the end of June.
