PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police believe a homeless man is responsible for a series of indecent assaults in Center City and North Philadelphia within less than two hours Tuesday morning.
Five victims were attacked along the Broad Street corridor; four of them were school girls.
Capt. Mark Burgmann says the suspect first went after a 16-year-old at 6:30 in the morning as she stood on a subway platform at SEPTA's Walnut-Locust station. She said a man grabbed her hand and tried to make her touch him inappropriately.

"At 16th and Vine, the victim's a 15-year-old female. She was approached by the offender who grabbed her buttocks and she then fled and went to school," Burgmann said.
He finally stopped his spree at Broad and Fairmount streets after assaulting a 16-year-old girl at Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue.
Burgmann says investigators have a solid description.
"Based off the video that we recovered and descriptions, we believe that the offender in his 50s, walks with a limp and may have what's described as a lazy eye," Burgmann said.
A big focus of their search is on homeless shelters.
Police ask anyone who may have more information about any of the incidents or about the suspect to call the Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3251, ext. 624.
