NORRISTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A Montgomery County prison inmate has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for killing his cellmate.
Nathan Blose, 42, an inmate at SCI Phoenix in Skippack, was sentenced to 8-16 years in prison for beating and choking Shaun Harden, 45, to death in the overnight hours of Oct. 31 into Nov. 1, 2024.
During a court appearance last week, Blose interrupted the judge to say he was tired of the ongoing court proceedings, and admitted to killing Harden.
Blose was originally serving a 3 1/2-7 year sentence for firearms violations and for headbutting a police officer in the face in 2020. Harden was nearing the end of a 4-8 year sentence for molesting three children in 2014.
