At an unveiling Tuesday morning, the Subaru Park sign was revealed, which will replace the current Talen Energy Stadium.
Philadelphia Union owner Jay Sugarman said the partnership with Subaru is a perfect fit to help the organization reach its goal of being a winner on and off the field.
“What they stand for, how they built their business, the passion and commitment to their customers and to their community fits incredibly well with the values of the Union,” he said.
Thom Doll, president and CEO for Subaru of America, Inc., which is headquartered in Camden, said a stronger charitable arm is another piece of the partnership plan.
The Subaru deal is set to last for multiple years, though it was not revealed to the public how many. A spokeswoman for the Union said the length of financials are not being disclosed either.
