PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Northeast High School was in lockdown briefly on Wednesday, while Philadelphia police investigated reports of a possible gun inside the school.
A School District of Philadelphia spokesman said the massive school on Cottman Avenue went into lockdown at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police remained on the scene until the lockdown was lifted after 1 p.m.
The spokesman said no gun was found and that no students or staff were injured.
