PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a pair of deadly shootings in the city Tuesday night.
Police were called to the area of North 6th Street and West Clearfield Avenue in the Fairhill section shortly before 9 p.m. for a reported shooting. The victim, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was found on a sidewalk suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This followed a reported shooting in Point Breeze less than two hours earlier. Police found a man in his late 20s or early 30s near 20th Street and Snyder Avenue with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
No arrests were made in either of the shootings.
