PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help after they say two men impersonated officers, then kidnapped a woman before dropping her off at a police station.

It began with a man and woman were sitting in their car on Bustleton Avenue, in the Oxford Circle section, when two "officers" approached their car around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, police say.

The fake cops, police say, zip-tied the hands of the 24-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, then forced the woman into the back of a car and drove off.

The men took the woman to the 15th District police station, on Levick Street, and dropped her off out front before leaving, according to authorities.

Neither of the victims were reported injured, but police are urging anyone with information to contact authorities.
