Just before 10 p.m. near Seventh and Callowhill streets, police say the victim, who hasn’t yet been identified, was walking across the street when he was struck by a gold, older model Honda Accord with tinted windows.
Police say the driver got out, looked, then got back in his car and drove off.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died shortly thereafter.
They say the car has visible passenger-side damage and is likely missing a side mirror.
