PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Haverford Township police say a 17-year-old was picked up Wednesday morning as he was getting ready to leave for school. They suspect him of shooting an 18-year-old Delaware County man.
Police say the victim and the teen were arguing over an ounce of marijuana on Tuesday night shortly after 8 p.m. when the suspect pulled a stolen gun and shot the victim in the face.
The incident happend near the intersection of Rose Tree Lane and Glen Gary Drive, which is a residential area.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police say two others seen running from the scene after the shooting are expected to talk to police later, but it is not clear if they will face any charges.
