PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Severe storms ripped through the Philadelphia area early Monday morning, replete with a brief tornado warning, leaving flood conditions and power outages in its wake.

April 15, 2019 PECO is making progress in restoring electrical service. There are now about 4,000 without power in Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
In South Jersey, PSE&G has more than 2,000 customers without power in an area that encompasses Camden, Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Marlton and Delran.
Atlantic City Electric crewes have been busy all morning and now report that they are down to about 400 outages in all.

April 15, 2019 After suspending service on the Norristown High Speed Line for signal problems, SEPTA has restored some trains. Trains will operate every 20 minutes between Norristown Transportation Center and Township Line Road Station in both directions. Shuttle bus service will operate between Township Line Road and 69th Street Transportation Center in both directions.
And SEPTA's Broad Street Line subway resumed local service aroud 7 a.m. Trains are running only every 10 minutes. Broad-Ridge Spur service also resumed service just before 8 a.m. There is no express service at the moment. For most of the morning, SEPTA had been running shuttle buses between Fern Rock Transportation Center and the stadiums in South Philadelphia due to signal issues at Fern Rock.
