PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — SEPTA officials are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect who they say assaulted a bus driver in the West Oak Lane section of the city.
Officials say the incident happened on July 8 after midnight. A driver was operating a Route 55 bus near the intersection of Broad Street and 66th Avenue.
The suspect boarded and refused to pay his fare, leading to a brief altercation. The suspect punched the driver in the face and then ran.
