PSPCA Humane Law Enforcement officers recovered the puppy from a home in Olney after receiving a tip Wednesday afternoon.
The dog was stolen from the shelter on Oct. 25 just hours after it was brought it as a stray.
On Nov. 1, Philadelphia police said they made an arrest in connection to the theft. It’s unclear if charges will be filed.
The shelter believes the puppy was stolen “in an effort to sell it.”
The pup is now “sleeping peacefully in a comfy bed” at shelter headquarters on Erie Avenue, the PSPCA said on social media, where it has “a full belly and (is) being showered with lots of love.”
